Following the completion of Academic activities for the 2019/20 Academic Session, the Management of the Obafemi Awolowo University has ordered all students to vacate the Halls of Residence on Campus.
This was contained in a Press Statement dated 29th November, 2021, signed by the Dean of Students’ Affairs.
Students on Teaching Practice, as well as Health Science Students who reside in the Halls have however been asked to report to the Division of Students’ Affairs.
The Press Statement reads;
“DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS
OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY.
ILE-IFE, NIGERIA.
SPECIAL RELEASE
“This is to notify all students in the school Halls of
Residence to vacate their Respective Halls latest by
Wednesday, 1st of December 2021. No one is allowed
to stay beyond this date.
“However, students on Teaching Practice and some
Health Science students currently living in hostels
should come to Division of Student Affairs for
necessary arrangement.
“The Division of Student Affairs wishes all students
safe journey and Merry Christmas in advance.
