Yes, there is nothing wrong with dating a classmate. Who cares what people think? Let’s be sincere we inwardly care, but as long as you’re happy that’s all that matters! Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not okay, do you think it’s okay though?
More importantly don’t let anyone steal your happiness, well that’s if another human is your happiness. If this individual makes you happy, go for it and make them yours. I’m so happy for you two as no one will help you cry if it ends in tears, dear.
Let’s just get right into the pros, so we can have our sadly ever after.
PROS
1) You get to know him/her a lot due to the amount of time you spend together. If you’re the clingy type then abort mission. I should tell you, my reader, a story about a clingy boyfriend the one we popularly call “woman wrapper” but let’s leave the pros as fairytale-issh for those dating their coursemates.
2) You are forced to work harder because you feel the need to live up to the pressure of being better than your partner (especially for guys). As Falz once said, no be e re omo kekere(not child’s play).
3)You have a reinforced behavior of going to class because you get to see your girl/boyfriend. If you have gotten to this extent I can only say, “congratulations on joining the simps”.
4)It’s hard for either one of you to cheat.
Your relationship may become stronger due to the prolonged exposure. Keyword: May.
5) You can see each other everyday, you can easily find her and talk to her when you are in school. This is so cute, I’m going to let this shine.
CONS
You already know, this is my favourite part.
If you’re eating something peppery stop now, you can’t tell me this isn’t spicy enough.
6) You might get tired of seeing him/her five times a week. Might keh, let’s be honest most of us take advantage of what’s easily accessible. As you spend a lot of time with her, you might end up finding out things about her that you do not like.
The mystery in the relationship is slowly lost. IF a break up occurred, it would be hard to find another girl in your class. Lol, if you’re hot this doesn’t apply to you.
7) If you guys break up, it will be really awkward seeing her everyday. If you ask anyone why they can’t date their classmates, this is the first viable point they make and sometimes, the only one. Lemme go and sip my alcohol.
8) It can abrupt your school work, jealousy can cause homework to be undone as you might be spending time thinking more about your boy/girlfriend and not schooling.
Whatever you do just do it with the Joe Goldberg class.
But in all, be with someone who you trust won’t make a joke of you. There’s nothing wrong with dating anyone in your department, meanwhile I didn’t say you should date your lecturers oh.
