Still on the matter of 720k that disappeared from the Union’s bank,as earlier realeased today that Dr Ibk has been reprimanded in prison after court trial,it has now been released that the money is now reversed.In the late hour of today (12th April,2022) The Students’ Union PRO, Ogunperi Taofeek Olalekan released a statement on the alert received.

WITHDRAWN STUDENTS’ UNION MONEY REVERSED

The leadership of the Union will like to confirm to the generality Great Ife students that the much debated missing Union funds is now reversed. This is coming as a result of the relentless efforts of the Executives of the Union, including but not only the Financial Secretary, Comrade Oluwasegun Abiola Joy “Legbeti” (wa.me/2349052762075) and the President, Comrade Olayiwola Folahan Festus “Reform” (wa.me/2347039281006), buoyed by the checks of Honourables and Great Ife students in general.
The leadership of the Union salutes all Great Ife students for their doggedness and keen interest in the issues surrounding the money. Indeed, it is the dauntless spirit of justice of IFE which has ensured that UBA bowed to the pressure mounted on them over the issue. The court case continues. All needed measures to safeguard the money of the Union shall be taken promptly.

You thought you’ve seen it all but OAU will show you different shades of drama. It hasn’t been long since we encountered different shades of voodoo on campus with Osun worshippers and masquerades having a field day on campus.
What more? A bat swallowed our 720k in a whim and this same mysterious bat returned the money into the account.
