Amid the long indefinite strike embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities since the 14th of February of 2022, a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University began his music career.

The OAU lecturer, Dr T. Olatoberu, is an academic staff from the Department of Soil Science and Land Resources Management. There has been no progressive action from the Federal Government. Despite consecutive meetings and promises to put an end to the strike, no solution that truly satisfies the demands of ASUU has been met.
