The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Decided to extend the Harmattan semester 2019/2020 by 2 weeks.
Also, this means that the examination date scheduled for April 26th has also been changed to a new date.
The decision on the extension of the academic calendar was finalized after the university held a senate meeting on Friday, 17th April which lasted for approximately 4 hours.
According to reports, the University management made this decision of adding 2 more weeks to the academic calendar to allow students to be adequately prepared for their exams and furthermore, complete their lectures and practicals.
