    I hope you know to study in Germany, you’ve to understand German, unlike Nigeria, they barely teach in English language. To also have higher chances while applying to study over there, you must be sound in their language.
    However, about 5 other countries have German as their official language, they are: Australia, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
    These are the basics of German, kindly go through!

    1. Hallo

    This means hello. If you want to talk to someone, you can actually start with Hallo, which is pronounced “Ha-Low”

    2. Guten Morgen

    The German way of saying “Good morning”. It is pronounced as “Gutin-morjin”

    3. Guten Tag

    A way of saying Good afternoon in German. It is pronounced as “Gutin-Tak”.

    4. Guten Abend

    Meaning Good night/good evening, it’s pronounced as “Gutin-abendt”.

    5. Wie geht’s?

    Means How are you and is pronounced as “we-gets”

    6. Es geht’s

    Means, I’m alright/I’m fine, it’s pronounced as “es-gets”

    7. Danke

    Pronounced as spelt means thanks or thank you.

    8. Bis Bald

    Pronounced as “Bis-byed/baid” means see you!

    9. Bis später

    Pronounced as “Bis-shpater” means see you later.

    10. Es tut mir leid:

    Means I am sorry and is pronounced as “es-tut-me-lied”

    11. Kein Problem

    It’s pronounced as “kain-problem” and it means no problem.

    12. Natürlich

    Pronounced as “natulich” means of course.

    13. Bitte

    Means please and is pronounced as spelt.

    14. Super

    Meaning Great is pronounced as “Zupa”

    15. Tschüss

    Pronounced as “choose” means bye.

    16. Auf Wiedersehen

    Meaning Good-bye is pronounced as “of-widezen”

    Looking at the German language closely, you’d notice most of it words sounds like English, without the meaning, you can guess most and guess right.
