Nigerian mobile network companies after decades of existence hasn’t been able to make their network stable, if you feel you’re too happy and you need to get angry or frustrated, just go through Nigerian mobile networks. You’ll successfully get angry. I don’t know if it is intentional, they just don’t cease to annoy their users. We have just 4 mobile networks in existence, which is: MTN, GLO, AIRTEL AND 9MOBILE
1. MTN
This network is like a switch, their network is either on or off. I don’t even understand where they got ‘everywhere you go’ and started using because that thing is a big fat lie. How you go dey tell me everywhere you go but when I get to a particular place, service will disappear? Another thing about this network is the way they drain data. How will I do data that is meant to last for a month and it won’t exceed two days, seems like they have a straw they use to suck data once you subscribe.
2. GLO
This network is really proud. It’s not as if their network is that good but their shakara is too much. It is this same network that won’t even warn you that your airtime is about to finish, you go just see say you no hear anything again. Their data plan dey okay but their network can make you cry. If you have an online interview, I’m begging, don’t use GLO network, you’ll loose the job. This very disrespectful network just switch itself off during calls, I don’t just understand, imagine trying to collect money and the person says, call your account number, then it switch off. Their advert too is never the same with the brand.
3. AIRTEL
This particular network is the best when it comes to adverts. They will use nice adverts and songs to draw your attention and now start misbehaving. It is Airtel network you’ll recharge now, make a 30seconds call, try to call again, you don’t have sufficient airtime anymore. Their data is one of the most expensive, their network is manageable depending on your location. Them dey try but them get their own for body.
4. 9mobile
This network just dey there. It’s not really used by students, it is mostly used by older people and na because they also like to do shakara. Their network is unstable and their data plan is not very affordable. This particular network, you fit subscribe and you no go get network till subscription expires, I feel they’re the worse when it comes to network. They came as a very good network, but for reasons best known to them, their good network diminished. Nah why them loose many customers.
In conclusion, one thing common to these networks is the stability of their network depends on your location, even though it’s not suppose to be so.
