The LSETF/UNDP Employability Support Project registration process is now open to the public. All Lagos residents between the ages of 18 and 35 who are interested in applying are urged to do so.
A project led by the UN Development Program (UNDP) and the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) aims to alleviate the country’s acute labor shortages by increasing the available pool of trained workers.
Training Courses for the LSETF UNDP Employment Support Project 2022
- Courses in fashion design and tailoring last 12 weeks.
- 8-week introduction to hospitality baking course
- Digital marketing – 1 course – 4 weeks – Information Technology
- Six-week programs in hair styling and cosmetology are available.
- It takes 12 weeks to complete the construction courses (plumbing/tiling/electrical/masonry)

Coverage of Scholarships
The project will accomplish this by providing training that lasts between four and twelve weeks and ensuring that at least half of the beneficiaries are placed in internships or jobs.
Eligibility Standards
- Residents of Lagos are required.
- All residents of Lagos must have a Lagos State Resident Registration Agency (LASRRA) ID (which can be obtained at any LGA office).
- A JSSCE diploma is the bare minimum.
