The Bible Society of Nigeria is pleased to announce the annual Essay Writing Competition that will be held for the 11th time this year. This is an opportunity for motivated graduates who are serving their fatherland to analyze and provide answers to the socio-economic and political difficulties in Nigeria utilizing both intellectual and Biblical approaches to the problem areas. The essay needs to be original, grounded in empirical research, and up to the level of quality required for publishing in regional as well as international journals.

- Laptop, management and motivational literature, and the Bible come in first, second, and third place, respectively.

Eligibility Standards
- Any potential participant must be a member of the National Youth Service Corps who is currently serving his or her country in one of Nigeria’s states.
- They are required to continue working until September 2022, at the very least.
- Dates, times, and locations for interviews will be provided to participants in the BSN NYSC Essay Writing Competition. Date: Wednesday, 1st June 2022
- The deadline is set for Thursday, June 30th, 2022.
- Thursday, August 18, 2022 is the date of the National Symposium.

- Instructions for Using the Application
- 3,000 words is the minimum requirement and 4,000 words is the maximum allowed for each entry. The font style and size should be “12” in Times New Roman.
- The essay must have a cover page that includes the author’s complete name, essay title, primary assignment location, current phone number, and working email address.
- Please include a copy of your call-up letter and ID card in your essay submission.
- All entries must be received by Thursday, June 30th, 2022, at the latest.
