Obafemi Awolowo University post utme examination process for the 2022/23 academic session has begun. A lot of post-utme candidates are already registering for the examination process scheduled to take place next month. We have compiled 10 things you should note about OAU post-utme below:

1. Eligible Candidates
Candidates who made the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their First Choice Institution in the 2022/2023 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening. OAU PRE-DEGREE and OAU JUPEB Candidates are expected to register for the 2022/2023 POST UTME.
2. Change of Institution
Candidates who changed their First Choice Institution to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and scored 200 and above are eligible for registration and screening. Such candidates’ data may however not have arrived at OAU, but do check back later.
3. Registration Closing date
OAU Post UTME registration process runs from 8th September till Sunday, 15th October 2022. So, all candidates are expected not to procrastinate any further and register today.
4. Exam date
The post-utme Examination runs from 17th October 2022 and till 23rd October 2022
5.Mode of exam:
The mode of OAU Post UTME Exam will be offline and done in OAU environment. The exam is also CBT and will expectedly hold in the Institution’s ICT centres.
6. Pass mark or eligibility: 25/50
Candidates must score a minimum of 25 out of 50 in the post UTME screening score in order to be considered for admission. Although, it’s important to score more than this in order to increase your chances of admission.
7. How did the total of 50 come into place?
O’level (10) ➕ Post UTME (40) = 50
8. How to calculate your total percentage
UTME / 8 ➕ O’level/5 ➕ ➕ Post UTME =100
Now Post UTME = 100 – (UTME/8) ➕ (O’level/5)
9. O’level points calculation
A1 = 10
B2=9
B3= 8
C4 = 7
C5 = 6
C6= 5
Others=0
