Just In! Edo State Governor Obaseki appoints a new Chief of Staff

    Barely 24hours after the resignation of Taiwo Akerele as the Chief of Staff to The Edo State Governor, Governor Godwin Obaseki has approved the appointment of Osaze Ethan Uzamere, a former Executive Assistant in his office as his new Chief of Staff.

    In a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, it is said that the appointment takes immediate effect.

    Osaze is the son of a prominent Edo Senator Ehigie Uzamere, who represented Edo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly between 2007 and 2011.

    An investment banker, Uzamere, 38, is a graduate of Stony Brook University, New York, where he majored in Computer and Electrical Engineering.

    As stated earlier, he is to resume his new ofiice with immediate effect.
